  2. Experience in fabrication and assembly of an Experimental Aircraft.
  3. Experience with late model stock car maintenance, setup, and driving.
  4. Experience as race day crew and spotter at local short track.

University of Washington Formula SAE Member
Formula SAE is a student run program at the University of Washington in which the team designs, fabricates, assembles, and races a formula style race car. This year I am responsible for designing and fabricating the bellcranks, a very important suspension component. June 2007 – 2008
Ron Wolf Racing, Port Orchard, WA
Local stock car race team with four Late Model Challenge Series championships.  I performed car maintenance, car setup, was a key member of the race day crew, and had the opportunity to drive.  I am currently preparing a car that I will race in the Limited Late Model Series beginning March 2008.  Tasks included, motor swaps, car setup and maintenance, race day crew member and spotting.

June 2007
Mechanical Engineering 123, University of Washington
ME 123 was a three month class in which I gained experience using Solid Works, a 3D solid modeling program.  In the class I learned methods of depicting three-dimensional objects and depicting them through freehand sketching and computer-aided design using parametric solid modeling.

Fall 2004 – Fall 2005
Extended Essay – Aluminum vs. Composite: An Aerospace Industry Perspective
As a part of the International Baccalaureate Program requirement, I chose to perform research at the University of Washington comparing the strengths of composite materials and aluminum used in the aerospace industry.

Summer 2003, August 2004
Professional Touch, Sumner, WA
Construction, participated in all stages of home construction including foundations, framing, and finish work.  I participated in projects working both independently and along with crew.
